OPERATION

The Decofilter can operate under negative or positive pressure. The dust laden air enters the dust collector in a hopper through one or more intakes with impact plates that cause the particles to drop to the bottom, where they are continuously collected by an air or mechanical system. The finer dust particles are blown upwards and are collected by the filter bags in the upper section. The filtered air is returned to the plant or the atmosphere. The dust laden filter bags are continuously cleaned by a compressed-air system controlled by a sequential programmer.

This type of dust collector is very versatile, as it can be installed in a physically restricted area.
