OPERATION

The Secofilter can operate under negative or positive pressure. The dust laden air enters the dust collector through a tangential air intake and, by cyclonic effect, the heavy particles are centrifuged to the bottom of the conical section where they are continuously collected by an air or mechanical system. The finer dust particles are blown upwards and are collected by the filter bags in the upper section. The filtered air is returned to the plant or the atmosphere. The dust laden filter bags are cleaned by a mechanical power shaker when the dust collector is stopped.

The Secofilter is available in various configurations :

SFC Series :
SFB Series :
SFR Series :

Conical lower section for continuous particle evacuation
Lower section with particle storage containers
Lower section with particle storage section and motorized sliding gate

Applications :

  • Filtration of all types of dry particles in low or high concentrations

Capacity :

The Cyclofilter is available in a complete line of models for filtering up to 26,500 cu. ft./min.
